Great Barrington to Auction Residential Properties on April 19

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The town will auction off several residentially zoned properties at noon on April 19 at Town Hall.    The properties were taken by the town for non-payment of property taxes, and they are now eligible for sale.   Up for sale are 9 Railroad Ave., a 954-square-foot house on 5,662 square feet of land; three acres of undeveloped land on Brush Hill Road (which meets minimum zoning requirements for building) and three non-contiguous lots on Fairview Terrace.   The auction company, Sullivan Auctioneers, will provide more details to prospective bidders, who may visit sullivan-auctioneers.com to request information and terms of

Jacob's Pillow Announces Dance Award Recipient

Berkshire Agricultural Ventures Expands Staff

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Berkshire Agricultural Ventures (BAV) recently added two new staff members to expand its capacity in two aspects of regional agriculture: meat processing and Climate-Smart Agriculture.   Jake Levin is the new Project Coordinator for BAV's Livestock Support Program. In this role, he will help implement and manage programs and services for livestock producers in the Berkshire-Taconic Region.
