Forest Conservation and Management Strategies for Climate Mitigation

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA), in conjunction with the Boston Public Library, Massachusetts Library System, and Massachusetts Department of Transportation, has launched the "Browse, Borrow, Board" campaign.    This partnership strives to promote literacy, local libraries, and public transportation.   On the BRTA buses and at the Pittsfield Intermodal Center, signs will be placed that include a QR code to access the Boston Public Library, so customers can read while they ride.    Riders sign up using an email address and password. NBSA Fall Basketball League Title Games Set

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The Championship matchups are set for the Northern Berkshire Sports Academy's fall basketball season.   The title games are set for Sunday morning at Drury High School.   In the A Division, the NBSA will play Giardina and Bresett PC at 9 a.m. Then, the Saboteurs will take on Adelson and Company in the B Division final.   All four teams advanced with semi-final wins on Oct. 29 at the Armory.   B Division Adelson and Company 66, NBSA 48 Jon Gregory scored 31 points to lead Adelson and Company. Colin Rousseau and Nick Lewis added 11 and 10 points, respectively in the win.   NBSA got 24 points from Brian Dowling. Ben Moulton scored 18 points,

Triplex Cinema Receives Grant from Fitzpatrick Trust

Drury's McGrath Leads Springfield College Offense

Drury High graduate Kayla McGrath has a team-high eight goals for the Springfield College women's soccer team this fall.   Last week, she scored both Pride goals in a 2-0 win over Wellesley.   McGrath's two game-winning goals this season is currently seventh in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference.   She has played 29 games and has 10 starts over the last two seasons for Springfield, which was 8-4-5 overall (6-2-3 in the NEWMAC) in the regular season and opens the conference tournament on Tuesday against Smith.   Westfield State senior Michaella Moncecchi (Wahconah) has appeared in three games with one start in goal for the Owls, stopping

2023 Winter Parking Ban Announcements

Community Legal Aid Kicks Off Berkshire County Access to Justice Campaign
