DALTON, Mass. — Jeanne Marie (Buckler) Mattox, 67, of Dalton, Mass., died Saturday November 18, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in South Weymouth, Mass., on November 3, 1950, daughter of the late Robert E. and Mary P. (Bates) Buckler. She attended schools in Hull, Mass., and Princeton, N.J., and graduated from Princeton High School. She also completed a certified nursing assistant program.
Jeanne was last employed by Springside Nursing Home and before that worked at Maple View Nursing Home. Jeanne attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pittsfield and enjoyed cross-stitching and knitting.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucinda Marie Morales of Texas and Mary Elizabeth DeWitt of Pittsfield; five grandchildren, including Ashley, Brittny, McKenzie, Novilee and James; one great-grandchild, Raiden; one sister, Lisa Bruce of Quechee, Vt.; four brothers, including Dale "Dusty" Buckler of Brighton, Colo., Robbie Buckler of Sandwich, Mass., Kevin Buckler of Dennisport, Mass., and Shaun Buckler of Bristol, R.I.; and eight nieces and nephews.
