Anthony S. Goodrich, 21

June 08, 2019

DALTON, Mass. — Anthony Samuel Goodrich, 21, of Dalton died on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield after a battle with leukemia, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Pittsfield on Aug. 20, 1997, a son to Jason "Jay" Michael Goodrich and Darla Duclos. He attended Taconic High School in Pittsfield. He was employed at Price Rite.

Anthony was Boston Strong, using that courage to fight his illness. Throughout his battle, he showed determination and never allowed leukemia to break him. He loved the outside but especially loved his friends and family. He would do anything for anyone never expecting anything in return. He was admired by all those who knew him on the way he lived his life.

Survivors include his parents, Jason Goodrich and Darla Duclos as well as his step-mothers, Jennifer Harwood and Amy Goodrich. He also leaves his sisters, Tayshia Chaloux and Brianna Goodrich, and his brothers, Dante Richards and Colby Richards. He was loved by his grandparents, including Linda Mochon, Christopher Came, Duane Goodrich, and Joie and Arnold Bourassa; his Uncle Cliff Came and Aunt Jennifer Langlois; and his cousins, Taylee, Raelyn Came, and Dylen Goines.

Anthony's family would like to thank HospiceCare in the Berkshires and the nursing staff at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston for the care and outpouring of concern and love.

FUNERAL NOTICE: There will be a private burial at a later date in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.
