The enduring pop belter Melissa Manchester is coming to Pittsfield on Monday, Aug. 13.

There are both old and new favorites on the horizon for this second week of August. Get ready for a revival of "She Loves Me," "The Wedding Singer," Melissa Manchester and Air Supply, plus a jazz afternoon at Sevenars.

Here is a wide range of styles for pop lovers:

Sevenars

Jerry Noble and Friends, specifically jazz clarinetist Bob Sparkman, headline the show at this Worthington venue on Sunday, Aug. 12, at 4 p.m. Jerry is a pianist, composer and guitarist who for 20 years has teamed on jazz collaborations with Bob. At this performance, they will play their favorites and as a special treat, they will be joined by bass guitarist Karen Noble.  

Jerry and Karen will be presenting an exciting new set of 24 Etudes for guitar duet. Worth a trip to the Academy on Ireland Street just off Route 112. Information can be found online.

Barrington Stage Company

The enduring pop belter Melissa Manchester is scheduled to have a date with "The Fellas" on Monday, Aug. 13, at 8 p.m. at Pittsfield's Boyd-Quinson Mainstage. Some time back, Melissa released a tribute album that featured hits by the female singers who influenced her. Now she's back with a show dedicated to male stars like Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Dean Martin.

The Grammy Award-winning singer is known for such hits at "Don't Cry Out Loud" and "You Should Hear How She Talks About You." But this performance promises to focus on evergreens like "Night and Day." For more information, check out Barrington Stage's website.

Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center

The Australian soft rock pop duo of guitarist Graham Russell and tenor Russell Hitchcock have been cultivating an American fan base for many years. With hits like "The One That You Love" and "Lost in Love," they visit the Mahaiwe on Sunday, Aug. 12, at 7 p.m. Check out the Mahaiwe's website for details.

Tanglewood Music Festival

Leonard Bernstein's eldest daughter Jamie narrates her own version of a Young People's Concert, one of the signature presentations her dad delivered regularly while musical director of the New York Philharmonic. It's titled "Why Music Matters" and is offered as a one hour show especially for kids and their parents with the Boston Symphony Orchestrsa on Friday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m. Go to the website for information.

Netta Yerushalmy brings the world premiere of her 'Paramodernities' to Jacob's Pillow Aug. 8-12.

On the New York side of the Berkshires, The Theater Barn in New Lebanon will declare "She Loves Me" from Thursday, Aug. 9, through Sunday, Aug. 19. With a book by Joe Masteroff and music by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, this tuneful romantic comedy is a perennial - it is based on the play "Parfumerie" by Hungarian playwright Miklós László that became "The Shop Around the Corner" and "You've Got Mail," in addition to this musical version. At the Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham, N.Y “The Wedding Singer” brings big hair and big fun from Thursday, Aug. 9, through Sunday, Aug. 19. Conor Robert Fallon stars as Robbie. For more information, visit the website.

Late Night Cabaret is on tap Thursday, Aug. 9, through Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. Reservations are required; visit the website.

At Jacob’s Pillow, the Doris Duke Theatre offers the world premiere of "Paramodernities" by Netta Yerushalmy on Wednesday, Aug. 8, through Sunday, Aug. 12, while the same theater presents Sonya Tayeh performing "you'll still call me by name," a dance piece in collaboration with vocalist Jo Lambert and indie-folk duo The Bensons starting Wednesday, Aug. 15.  And don’t forget, every evening at 6:15 p.m. there’s an exciting Inside/Out show free. At the free Great Barrington Summer Concert Series at the gazebo behind town hall, Paula Bradley and Marylou Ferrante present their old time and blues stylings on Friday, Aug. 10, starting at 5:30 p.m.
