HINSDALE, Mass. — Barbara Osborne, a Realtor at Bishop West Real Estate, has been elected Western Regional Representative for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors for 2019.
As regional representative for the Western region, Osborne will coordinate association objectives and activities within the Berkshire County Board of Realtors and the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley. She will meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance. She automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of her election as a regional representative.
On the state level, Osborne was a member of the Realtor Independent Expenditure Political Action Committee, the Charitable Foundation and the Forms Content Advisory Committee. In 2019, she will serve as a member of the Leadership Development Committee, the Charitable Foundation and the Gratitude Task Force. Osborne is a 2018 graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy.
On the local level, Osborne was the president of the Berkshire County Board of Realtors in 2013 and was named their Realtor of the Year in 2014. In 2018, she was the recipient of the Berkshire County Board of Realtors Spirit Award.
On the national level, Osborne served on the 2018 Research Committee and will continue to do so in 2019.
A Realtor since 1997, Osborne has earned her Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), GREEN, Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC) designations and certifications.
