STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — After an extensive search, Norman Rockwell Museum has named Alyssa Stüble as the new communications manager.

In this role, she will help bolster NRM's presence in the media and highlight the broad range of the museum's offerings, from special exhibitions to virtual reality experiences, and more. Additionally, her digital marketing experience will bring online content to new audiences and grow the museum's regional and national footprint.

"We are delighted to welcome Alyssa to NRM and our Berkshire community," said Margit Hotchkiss, chief marketing officer. "Her museum experience and contemporary communications skillset will support the Museum’s mission and goals to ensure we engage wide and diverse audiences about the art and civic values demonstrated by Norman Rockwell, and the field of American illustration art."

Relocating from Philadelphia, Stüble has both diverse and specialized skillsets in museum marketing and public relations. Most recently she was manager of marketing and communications at the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, working on all things PR, advertising, digital marketing, social media and graphic design. She also freelanced for the University of Pennsylvania Museum as a media buyer and strategist for the opening of the new Middle East galleries in late 2018. Previously, she was a curatorial intern in her hometown - Scranton, Pa. - at the Everhart Museum.

She holds a master's degree in arts administration with a concentration in nonprofit communications from Temple University in Philadelphia, as well as a bachelor's degree in art history, which fostered her appreciation for Rockwell's art. Stüble and her husband Philip Arnold are excited to live here year-round and explore all the arts and culture the The Berkshires has to offer. Arnold has a graduate degree in City & Regional Planning (also from Temple University) and transitioned from his professional role in the private sector of planning to a county government position with the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission. He currently works as a community planner in Pittsfield, Mass.
